🕓 Daylight Saving Time (DST) Notice: This class follows Eastern Time (ET), which observes DST in the United States (March 9 – November 2, 2025).
🌍 Many European countries also observe DST, but on slightly different dates (e.g., March 30 – October 26, 2025).

To succeed in this Creative Writing 101 course, students must meet the following expectations:
✅ Core Participation
- Live Lectures: Mondays. Live Class Discussions: Tuesdays.
- Respond to discussion prompts and reply to at least one peer’s post each week.
📝 Assignments & Major Projects
- Complete all self-paced lessons and digital notebook assignments on time.
- Submit regular creative writing exercises, blogs, speeches, and character-based writing.
- Participate in peer review, feedback forums, and collaborative writing tasks.
- Midterm Project (Fall Semester): Submit a polished research paper that connects writing to a real-world topic or cultural theme.
- Final Project (Spring Semester): Submit a creative essay that celebrates cultural awareness and demonstrates growth as a writer.
📚 Independent Study Expectations
- Complete all lesson modules and notebook entries each week at your own pace.
- Practice writing across different forms—fiction, nonfiction, poetry, speeches, and blogs.
🕒 Time Commitment
Students should expect to spend approximately 2–5 hours per week on coursework, including writing, revision, and live session participation. Extra time may be needed for midterm and final project completion.

All students must follow Àbulẹ’s academic honor code. Plagiarism, use of AI writing tools, or dishonest work will result in a zero and a required make-up assignment. Building your voice means writing with integrity.
