Exploring the Invisible World: A 3-Week Introduction to Microbiology is a fun, free summer course that introduces students to the basics of microbiology. Designed for curious middle and high school learners, this beginner-friendly course reveals the unseen world of microbes all around usβwhat they are, where they live, and how they shape our health and environment.
From looking at cells through a microscope to understanding how bacteria grow and interact, students will gain early exposure to lab techniques, science vocabulary, and real-world applications of microbiology. No prior science knowledge is requiredβjust curiosity and imagination!
This is a multilevel course built for both middle and high school students to explore and enjoy. Families are welcome to learn alongside their students.

π¬ How the Course Works
This summer course uses a mix of colorful visuals, videos, and simple experiments to teach microbiology concepts in an engaging way. Lessons are interactive and self-paced, and students will have the opportunity to meet live each week with a teacher and peers to discuss what they’ve learned.

- π§ͺ Activities & Exploration: Try easy at-home experiments and projects using safe materials to practice real science skills.
- π¬ Optional Discussions: Each lesson includes prompts for students to share ideas, ask questions, or upload mini-projects in the LMS discussion panel.
